I liked it

I like your work. Rather simple but effective and very funny. I also like how you keep the file size low in your movies -- I'm tired of downloading 4 meg crap that should be 300k.

yes, file size is always a consideration..even 250k can be a pain in the ass on a 56k connection.

You get good style points, but there's no reason this (really short) movie should be 1.5 megs. Compress the audio properly and it would probably be around 300k. This is still very good considering your age, though!

Very fluid animation, IMO much better than anything on the front page right now.

really good pacing

You told a solid story, with a lot of different shots with quick pacing, so it moved along really well. A minor criticism is I thought the bad guys were a whole lot cooler-looking than the hero, who frankly I found the least interesting in the movie to look at. I gave you a 6 in 'sound' for good compression with no clipping, but the movie would definitely have more impact with some sound effects, with all that action. More time spent drawing the figures would also pay off big time.

...I just looked at your halloween movie and also enjoyed that one a lot, keep it up! You have a sense for animation.

you have a cool style and I can appreciate what you were trying to do, I just think this movie would be better if the pacing of the shots was a LOT quicker. It would be a much shorter movie, but I would like it more. Good work otherwise, though.

I agree with your sentiment (although some shots are purposely extra long). After working on it for days, I couldn't tell if the timing was quite right. Even now it's still too close to call for me, but I'll look back in a few days and if I think there need to be any corrections, I'll make them. Thanks!

best movie in a while

This is the best movie submitted to Newgrounds for at least the last week or two. Nice design, good sound, animation, and compression. I'll be disappointed if this doesn't win the daily feature!

you can do better

You seem pretty smart for a 15 year old, based on your spelling and the way you write, but looking at your profile you are definitely obsessed with poop. I thought this movie was appropriately shitty, but I liked the sound and some of the graphics were sort of interesting. I'd bet you can do something better than this... unfortunately, it's already been proven you don't have to. Definitely keep making more, although I'd like to see you get away from shit-eating jokes. Something tells me that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
